Brian Blackwell – Managing Partner, Grandslam Equity (Lubbock, Texas)

Brian Blackwell is the Managing Partner of Grandslam Equity, a Lubbock, Texas private investment firm that invests in private companies, acquires producing and non-producing oil and gas mineral, royalty and overriding royalty interests for accredited investors. A Lubbock native, Brian has spent 20 years in private business. He founded UPNIN in 2011, co-founded PitchMan Apparel with former MLB pitcher Bobby Livingston, co-founded INSIDE Coaches with former college basketball coach and now CBS Analyst Chris Walker, and has been a licensed Texas REALTOR® since 2005. Brian also worked for George H.W. Bush while in college and for George W. Bush at the White House after college. He has also been very involved with Mitt Romney's and Donald J. Trump's presidential fundraising efforts. He earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University (2006) and an MBA in Finance/Real Estate from SMU's Cox School of Business (2010).
